First Deputy Speaker: TurkPA is turning to the international voice of the Turkic speaking countries

Baku, November 22, AzerTAc First Deputy Speaker of Azerbaijani Parliament has said TurkPA is becoming to be the international voice of Turkic speaking countries as he met participants of the 2nd joint Baku meeting of socio-political committees of TurkPA member states. Mr. Asgarov said TurkPA already had observatory status in several international organizations. He said: “We have common history and culture.” The Deputy Speaker stressed the importance of cooperation in political, economic, cultural fields. Turkish Grand National Assembly President of Health, Labour and Social Works Commission Necdet Unuvar stressed the role of such meetings in terms of developing relations among member states and boosting cooperation in legislative sphere. Deputy from the lower chamber of Kazakh Parliament Kamal Burhanov stressed the necessity of developing bilateral relations among Turkic speaking countries in the social field. Mr. Burhanov praised developing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
