First Diplomatic Saloon Meeting to Kick Off Tomorrow

Doha, March 15 (QNA) - The first Diplomatic Saloon meeting will kick off Monday in the presence of HE the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al Khulaifi. Their Excellencies the Assistants Foreign Minister, heads of departments and heads of the diplomatic missions accredited to the state will take part in the meeting to discuss the conditions of expats in the state. The Diplomatic Saloon meetings are the latest initiative launched by the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a bid to promote cooperation and communication between state officials and the heads of the accredited diplomatic missions. It also aims at providing the diplomatic missions integrated and accurate information from approved official sources. A high-ranking state official will be invited periodically to speak on a political, economic, social or environmental issue, especially those important regionally and globally. (QNA)
