First historical drama series to be shown

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A TV costume drama series is to be shown on the Mongolian National Broadcaster (MNB) on every Monday. The producers of “Period of Khanates” historical drama series is N Entertainment and Mongolian TV Drama Pictures Co. Studying over 200 historical sources about the Mongol Empire, writer and journalist Alen Arman worked on the script for seven years. The series features real figures from historical records of 22 Mongolian Khanate empires from the time of Togoon Tumur to Ligden Khutugtu Khan. This is the first time that the generations following after the Great Khans are to be shown on television.
