First International Anti-Drugs Forum Begins Tomorrow

Doha, May 24 (QNA) - Under the patronage of HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the First International Anti-Drugs Forum will get underway at Sheraton Doha Hotel tomorrow. Organized by the Ministry of Interior, the forum will see the participation of 22 countries, and a number of international associations and prominent dignitaries, who will hold discussions on the detection of smuggling methods, routes and itinerary. The international forum will be attended by INTERPOL Secretary General Jurgen Stock, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Executive Director Yury Fedotov, Secretary General of the Arab Interior Ministers Council Dr Mohammed bin Ali Kuman, Director of Pan Arab Bureau For Narcotics Affairs Brigadier General Issa Qaqish, and Regional Director of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Hatem Ali.
