First Vice-President of NCA Calls for Anti-Terrorism Conference in Tunis

Doha , June 09 (QNA) - First Vice-President of Tunisian National Constituent Assembly (NCA) Meherzia Labidi has called for speeding up initiative of holding the national dialogue conference on the phenomenon of terrorism. In an exclusive statement to Qatar News Agency(QNA) on Monday on the sidelines of his participation in the US-Islamic World ,being held at the Ritz Carlton hotel here today, Labidi stated that all Tunisian people, without exclusion or conditional participation , have the right to participate in this national conference to address the terrorism phenomenon. Those who are carrying arms, are banned to attend such a conference, First Vice-President of Tunisian National Constituent Assembly (NCA) noted. She noted that Ennahda Movement Party waived the government to stop bloodshed and to evade any opportunity to undermine gains of the Tunisian revolution, calling meantime for following this experience to make Tunisia a success in its democratic path. Labidi pointed out that the NCA is very interested in addressing the terror phenomenon and is currently discussing a draft law on anti-terrorism and money laundering. The Tunisian senior official stressed that the forum is an important opportunity for dialogue and exchange of views on various topics of common interest, saying the dialogue is always a way to resolve differences , renounce violence and promote these values through conferences and forums.
