Five Suspects Identified In Sungai Golok Bombing

By Jamaluddin Muhammad BANGKOK (Thailand), July 23 (Bernama) -- Thai police have identified five suspects linked to a car bomb attack in Sungai Golok, Narathiwat recently. Deputy National Police Chief Gen Suwat Chan-it-tikul said the suspects were Nazri Melee, Muhamadsakree Shaising, Budiman Matsaleh, Abdul Aziz Matsae and Awae Ya. He said the attack on Friday which injured eight people was recorded by close-circuit television cameras in Sungai Golok. A 50kg homemade bomb was hidden in a pick-up which was parked in front of a row of shophouses at Jalan Jarenkhet in Sungai Golok before it was detonated using a walkie-talkie at 6.30am. -- BERNAMA
