Flight hours of Nok Air pilots checked

BANGKOK, Feb 21 (TNA) - The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand or CAAT are investigating flight hours of pilots of low-cost airline Nok Air and the result is expected to conclude later this week. Chula Sukmanop, acting chief of CAAT said CAAT officials have started probing flight hours of Nok Air pilots since Saturday to ensure that their flight hours would not exceed regulations. The results of the probe will be submitted to Transport Minister Arkhom Termpittyapaisith for his consideration. If it is found that pilots’ flying hours exceed the maximum flight time limits, both the airline and pilots will face punishment. It could involve license suspension or revocation depending on the decision of the transport minister. (TNA)
