Flower tunnels in honour of HM late King

BANGKOK, Oct 22 (TNA) - A large crowd of people flocked to see the beauty of six flower arches, built by more than a thousand volunteers in Pak Klong Talat to honour His Majesty the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej. The display of flowers, including more than four million marigolds is being held along a 400-metre-long stretch of Chakphet Road. The event called “Flowers for Dad” will run until this Friday. Each floral arch features different meaning about love and loyalty of Thai people for the late King. For example, the fourth arch, called “Home” is adorned with 77 daffodils in the shape of Thailand to convey the meaning of the love of Thai people from all 77 provinces for King Bhumibol. The number of visitors is limited to 100 persons for each round of walk through all flower tunnels. (TNA)
