FM, Brahimi discuss Syria on phone

Tehran, May 5, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and the United Nations Special Envoy to Syria Lakhdar Brahimi have discussed latest developments in Syrian on phone. According to a Foreign Ministry statement, in a call to the Iranian minister, Brahimi briefed Zarif on the latest developments in Syria. The two stressed that a peaceful diplomatic solution to the Syrian problem was the best way to resolve the ongoing crisis in that country.
