Foreign Minister Arrives In Qatar

BAGHDAD / NINA / Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari arrived at dawn today to the Qatari capital Doha to participate in the Thirteenth United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal justice. Jaafari will deliver according to a statement by his press office, " Iraq's word in the conference through which he will express the position of Iraq in the fight against crime and terrorism and the challenges faced by the security and stability of the region and the world. Jaafari is hoped to meet the prime minister of Qatar, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani and the Iraqi community and the staff of the diplomatic mission and Arab ambassadors in Doha, in addition to a lecture under the title (Iraq's foreign policy in a turbulent region) at a symposium held by the Iraqi embassy in coordination with the Doha Brookings Center for Political Analysis. / End
