Foreign Minister Holds Talks with Somali Premier

Mogadishu, May 22 (QNA) - HE the Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah held a session of talks today with Prime Minister of the Republic of Somalia Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke during the visit he paid to Mogadishu. During the session they discussed relations between the two countries and means of developing them, in addition to matters of mutual concern. HE Al-Attiyah confirmed the State of Qatar's keenness to enhance relations between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Somalia in various fields for the benefit of the two countries and their brotherly peoples. For his part, the Somali Prime Minister expressed thanks and appreciation for the visit, hoping that relations would see a remarkable development, growth and further prosperity in all fields. Charge d'Affaires at the Qatari Embassy in Mogadishu Hassan bin Hamza Assad Mohamed and member of the delegation accompanying HE the Foreign Minister attended the meeting.(QNA)
