Foreign Minister meets American Jewish Committee delegation

Manama, Dec. 2. (BNA) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa received here today a delegation of American Jewish Committee (AJC), led by the Director of Government and International Affairs Jason Isaacson. The Minister discussed Bahrain-US relations with with the delegation members who voiced their intention to consolidate bilateral ties towards further progress and prosperity in all fields. The delegation congratulated Bahrain on the successful parliamentary and municipal elections, and described them as an important step in the process of Bahrain’s progress in fulfilling the aspirations of the people, wishing Bahrain further success and prosperity at all levels. Talks also touched on issues of common interest at the regional and international arenas.
