Foreign minister meets BACA chief

Manama, June 13 (BNA): Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa received today Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) President Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa. He commended her strenuous efforts to highlight Bahrain’s culture and civilization and conserve national historic and heritage sites. He stressed the ministry’s full support to ensure the success of the 42nd meeting of the World Heritage Committee, which will open on the 24th of June in Bahrain.  He pledged to facilitate contacts with all relevant organisations in the world as part of efforts to bolster Bahrain’s cultural standing among countries in the world.  BACA president Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa commended the Foreign Ministry’s cooperation which, she said, helped promote Bahrain’s culture and heritage and consolidate its standing at all international arenas
