Foreign Ministers of Russia, Malaysia discuss investigation into MH17 crash in Donbass

MOSCOW, August 5. /TASS/. Foreign Ministers of Russia and Malaysia Sergey Lavrov and Anifah Aman have discussed the course of the investigation into the crash of the Malaysia Airliners Flight MH17, the Russian Foreign Ministry said on Wednesday following meeting of the two ministers on the sidelines of the ASEAN forum in Kuala Lumpur. "The two sides exchanged views on the prospects of boosting cooperation in the political, trade, economic, military, technical and humanitarian areas," the ministry said. "They pointed to the similarity of the two countries’ approaches to the pressing regional and international problems." The two sides paid particular attention to the course of the investigation into the crash of the Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17," the Russian Foreign Ministry said. In the framework of the ASEAN security forum, Sergey Lavrov also held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Cambodia Hor Namhong. According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, "a thorough exchange of views on the current state and prospects of development of the Russian-Cambodian relations took place, with a particular emphasis on strengthening cooperation in practical areas."
