Foreign Ministry launches "MOFA Bahrain" application

Manama, Apr. 1. (BNA)-- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has launched an updated version of its smartphone application 'MOFA Bahrain'. It comprises many services offered by the Ministry to benefit users, in line with its keenness on facilitating interaction with the public and providing high quality services. This advanced application offers important information, guidelines and services such as: the "Tawasul" service aimed at facilitating the communication with citizens on diplomatic missions of the Kingdom of Bahrain abroad, "Notification" service issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in emergency cases to facilitate procedures and safeguard the security and safety of citizens abroad and any other developments. Among the other services offered by the updated version is the service on the types of visas, applications, requirements and fees as well as the addresses, phone numbers and e-mails of embassies and diplomatic missions of the Kingdom of Bahrain abroad and locations on Google map. This is in addition to assistance requests from the Kingdom’s diplomatic missions abroad as well as travel advice. The application also features general information about the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom’s visitors, providing guides to the most important and famous landmarks. Users can download the updated MOFA Bahrain's application through the App Store, Google Play and BlackBerry’s App World.
