Former Turkish President Abdullah Gul becomes Honorary Doctor of ADA University

Baku, April 30, AZERTAC 11th President of Turkey Abdullah Gul has been presented with a diploma of an Honorary Doctor of ADA University in Baku. Rector of ADA University Hafiz Pashayev highlighted life and activity of Abdullah Gul. The rector spoke about “friendly and fraternal” relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey, as well as cooperation in the fields of science and education. Mr Pashayev said Abdullah Gul was honoured with the Honorary Doctor diploma for his efforts to maintain peace in the world and contributions to deepening Azerbaijani-Turkish friendly relations, as well as his achievements in economy. Mr Gul said he is “grateful” to ADA University for the diploma. He applauded the Azerbaijani government`s attention to the development of education.
