FORUM TO RUN ON HEALTH INVESTMENTS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Initiated by the Health Ministry, a forum on ‘Economy and Investments of Health Sector’ will be held in State House on June 7. The forum organizing committee held Friday a press conference to inform about the forum that is to run under collaboration with the Economic Development Ministry and the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry. At the press conference, Health Deputy Minister J.Amarsanaa highlighted a need of foreign and domestic investments to the health sector development and cooperation with the private sector to foster chances to conduct medical diagnosis and treatment in the nation, rather than abroad. The forum will consist of four sub-meetings on maternity, oncology, neurology and organ transplantation, at which the gathered will discuss issues of medical infrastructure, technological development, policies and involvement of the private sector. At the forum, the Ministry officers will inform on investment projects aiming at delivering relevant medical services for diseases that have been regarded as untreatable in Mongolia for now.
