Four Expatriates Told To Leave Palangka Raya

Palangka Raya, C Kalimantan, July 16 (Antara) - At least four expatriates -- three from Finland and one from India have been told to leave Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan, as they have no working permit. Head of the immigration office of Palangkaraya Ilyas, M. Si said the four expatriate are given three days to leave the Palangkaraya immigration territory . Ilyas said the four are hired by a compan as experts in the construction of gas-fired power generating project. "If they are to work here , the company that hires them, should prepare the necessary documents as required by the law," he said. The documents include on plan for employment of expatriates and license to employ expatriates, he added. In the past several months , the Palangkaraya Immigration office has deported 20 expatriates employed by mining companies including coal miners. On Wednesday three Chinese and an Indian have to leave Indonesia as they have no proper documents to work in Palangkaraya immigration area , Ilyas said. Earlier the Palangka Raya immigration office deported 18 expatriates from China, India, and South Korea working for a number of companies in the area. The have worked illegally for mining companies and gas fired power generating companies . "The held only visa for visit not working visa," Ilyas said.
