French Diplomat: Hamedan Winter Festival Symbol Of Iranˈs Tourism Attractions

Hamedan, Jan 26, IRNA – French Ambassador to Tehran Bruno Foucher said that Hamedan Winter Festival is a symbol of Iranˈs tourism attractions. Foucher told IRNA on Friday afternoon that Hamedan has cultured population, rare historical sites and beautiful and attractive nature, so if a tourist ignores the place, he has lost an important opportunity in his life. He added that he was honored to be able to visit this historical and civilized capital of ancient Iran. Foucher continued that Hamedan has capacities to attract foreign tourists, but it needs more advertisement. He appreciated Hamedanˈs officials for creating an opportunity for French embassy diplomats to attend the 6th Hamedan Winter Festival and said his country stood ready for a reciprocal cooperation in this field. The 6th Hamedan Winter Festival started on January 24 and continues until 28, 2013./end
