Friday Preacher Asks People, Officials To Resolve Quake Victimsˈ Problems

Tehran, April 13, IRNA – Provisional Friday Prayer Leader of Tehran Ayatollah Mohammad-Ali Movahhedi-Kermani in his second sermon advised concerned officials and people to offer special services to Bushehr province quake victims. The Ayatollah also advised the upcoming June Presidential Election hopefuls that this management post would temporarily be trusted in the hands of one of them. Ayatollah Movahhedi-Kermani advising all to observe piety, sincerely condoled with the Bushehr quake victims, sympathized with them, and prayed to Almighty Allah for the salvation of the souls of the deceased of the bitter tragedy, for patience of their bereaving relatives, and for quick recovery of the injured victims. Noting official reports, the Ayatollah praised concerned officials for offering noticeable services to the quake-stricken citizens, praying that they would be rewarded from God. ˈOf course that is what we expect them to do and the people, too, have served greatly, but I advise both the people and the officials to offer ever more services in this regard,ˈ he added. The member of the Leadership Experts Assembly referred to the upcoming Presidential Elections and the City and Rural Councils Elections, reiterating, ˈThe people are commissioned to deliver these trusts to their owners and our noble, good, and revolutionary people must know that they have a great responsibility before them and that God, too, say: Deliver the trusted tasks to their real owners.ˈ Movahhedi-Kermani said, ˈSeek and find the appropriate individuals that are capable of accepting these responsibilities; it is no joke, a president is elected with every single vote of the people, and takes over the helm of the country's executive affairs for four years. If that individual is incapable, or neglect heeding his responsibilities, it is you and I who have voted for him to share the responsibility of that shortcoming.' ˈBoth the people and those who nominate themselves as hopefuls for the post of the President should know that this is a divine trusted post, and not a trivial matter.ˈ Movahhedi-Kermani referred to the nomination of the current (Iranian) year (1392 – started on March 20th, 2013) by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution as the Year of Political Epic and Economic Epic, saying, ˈHis Eminence expects the people to create a political epic at the election polls, and the first and foremost important point is the broad and eye-catching participation of the people that would be a punch on the mouths of the internal and external enemies, and the enemies would for ever lose hope of attacking our system.ˈ Movahhedi-Kermani added, ˈMay God grant success to everyone to make the Supreme Leaderˈs wish come true and by grace of Allah, to dishearten the enemy. Of course the Guardians Council would provide for the conditions in accordance with the Constitution so that the hopefuls whose competence for being elected is approved would be truly competent for accepting this responsibility.ˈ Referring to the conditions of the day, too, the provisional Friday Prayer leader of Tehran referred to the anniversary of Karbala 5 Operation (in the course of the Iraqi-imposed war) on which the Army and the IRGC forces participated jointly and the upcoming Army Day, as well as the martyrdom anniversary of Seyyed Mohammad-Baqer Sard and his learned sister Bent ul-Hoda Sadr during the ousted and deceased Iraqi dictator, Saddam Hosseinˈs dark era, cursing Saddam for martyring them. The Friday preacher of Tehran for this week also referred to the anniversary of severing ties with the US, saying, ˈIran benefited from this severed relation, as the enemy realized it cannot paralyze our country.ˈ Ayatollah Movahhedi-Kermani also commemorated the anniversary of the chemical bombardment of Iranˈs Marivan region by the Baˈthi forces of the former Iraqi regime, saying, ˈIt was God who belittled and made wretched the Baˈthi forces of Saddam.ˈ He considered the Islamic countriesˈ hackersˈ attack in the virtual space against the websites of the usurper racist Zionist regime ˈvaluable, amazing, and jubilatingˈ. ˈThis was another both on the entity of the usurper Israeli regime, inflicting two billion US dollars loss against it, and segregating it at the virtual and electronic spaces for good, and I congratulate this great success to all those who have been active in the field.ˈ The Tehran Friday preacher also warned the Iranian pilgrims of Holy Kaˈba, saying, ˈThe Wahabies distribute pamphlets among the pilgrims of Godˈs House which are abundant in lies.
