G.BATKHUU MP MEETS RUSSIAN AMBASSADOR

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A chairman of a working group, which works on formulating the state policy on transport transportation and logistics, G.Batkhuu MP met Thursday Mr I.K.Azizov, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation (RF) to Mongolia, in the State House. Mr Azizov thanked him for receiving and said he had already started several works. He also mentioned that the two countries have long-year historical ties, cooperating in many fields, and said Russia wants to share information on a renovation of the Ulaanbaatar Railways and on developing the transit transport and logistics. In response, Mr Batkhuu congratulated him on becoming the Ambassador to Mongolia and said he has been working on developing the bilateral cooperation in the infrastructure sector. He also talked about works regarding drawing up the state policy on transit transport and logistics. Mongolia wants to boost a fruitful cooperation with its neighbours, so a related clause will be reflected in the newest policy on railways, he said. He expressed a satisfaction with a sustainable development of the Mongolia-Russia relations at a parliamentary level.
