GCC Event Concludes in Doha

Doha, April 28 (QNA) - The GCC Days event has concluded Monday in Doha after two days filled with activities and seminars covering political, cultural, security and military issues as well as workshops that touched on the economic side of GCC states. The event was a result of one of the decisions of the 35th session of GCC supreme council, which stipulated the organization of GCC weeks to be held on an annual basis in a GCC state with the aim of educating GCC nationals on achievements of the different fields. The activity focuses on young people and building their skills as well as sponsoring youth initiatives and backing patents and promoting awareness of copyrights. An accompanying exhibition was held at Katara in order to educate GCC citizens on the history of GCC and its statute, the rights of GCC citizens and shedding the light on GCC achievements. (QNA)
