GCC Judicial Meeting Concluded

Doha, March 03 (QNA) - Deputy heads of supreme courts and courts of cassation in the GCC nations concluded Tuesday their first of a two-day meeting held at the Hilton hotel in Doha. The meeting issued a set of recommendations that included a draft strategic plan in addition to a cooperation plan in the field of judicial inspection and to set five-year period to implement it. Assigning a committee to study a paper submitted by Kuwait's court of cassation, pertaining to qualify judges of supreme courts and courts of cassation in the GCC countries in addition to ask the GCC Secretariat General to prepare a note on a decision of the Supreme Council which was taken in 34th GCC Summit in Kuwait and starting a permanent programme for youth in the GCC countries handling relief and humanitarian work.(QNA)
