Geneva hosts EANA General Assembly

Geneva, September 25, AZERTAC An annual General Assembly of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) has today been held in Geneva. The event brought together top management of the EANA member agencies. Director General of Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC) Aslan Aslanov attended the Assembly. Albanian ATA agency was elected a member of the EANA. Director General of Romania's National News Agency AGERPRES Alexandru Giboi and CEO of Sweden`s TT News Agency Jonas Eriksson were elected members of the EANA Board, while Erik Nylen was re-elected as EANA's Secretary General for a three year term. The next General Assembly of the alliance will be held in Bratislava, Slovakia.
