Ger areas to be replaced by apartment districts

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Eight companies have won a tender to participate in the great construction works of re-planning ger areas in the city. The Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city E.Bat-Uul; and head of the Citizens' Representative Khural of the city D.Battulga presented Wednesday to these companies confirmation certificates. In accordance with a contract, the companies will start the great construction on June 20 of 2013, and will collaborate with the Ministry of Construction and Urban Development in resolving the infrastructure matters. "Providing the city people with apartments is the prior work before constructing the new international airport and city metro. We can solve many problems such as air pollution by doing this work," Mr Bat-Uul said.
