German counsellor bids farewell to Thais

BANGKOK, July 29 (TNA) - German Press and Cultural Affairs Counsellor to Thailand Annette Severy has bidden farewell to Thais, as her term ends on July 31, 2015. Severy invited members of the media to a press session at her residence in Bangkok on Tuesday night to bid farewell and to introduce her successor, Jan Blezinger. The participating guests were given an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the new German counsellor, who displayed amicable persona and friendliness, while also enjoying homemade German delicacies, prepared by the outgoing German press and cultural counsellor during the dinner gathering. Germany and Thailand have maintained strong bilateral relationship, with two-way cooperation focused, especially, on education and science and technological development. (TNA)
