BAGHDAD / NINA / German announced that it soon will send 1,200 soldiers to the region as well as a frigate and a refueling plane. ". He said that "his country will send 1,200 troops to the region to deal with reconnaissance planes, a frigate, and aircraft refueling, planned also to be sent to do missions in Syria." He added that "There are meetings with officials in Turkey and Jordan, on the concentration of these aircraft in Incirlik military base in Turkey, and in the Jordanian capital of Amman." He made it clear that "the aircraft will not carry a weapon, because the international coalition to combat Daash has enough power and equipment for use in the bombing operations, and there is a need to explore what is happening on the ground, which the German Tornado jets will contribute in." The Germany is an active member of the international coalition led by the United States to fight the terrorist organization Daash in Iraq, Syria, and has a military force that trains the Peshmerga forces in northern Iraq. / End
