Global Rubber Conference 2016

BANGKOK, Oct 2 (TNA) - About 500 natural rubber business and machinery operators from more than 25 countries will attend a three-day meeting in the southern resort of Krabi later this month to find ways to increase rubber prices and exchange ideas on promoting rubber industry The Global Rubber Conference 2016 meeting will be held between October 11 – 13. Thailand is currently a major producer and exporter of natural rubber. Teerapat Prayunsit, permanent secretary for Agriculture and Cooperatives said the objectives of the meeting are to explore ways to solve declining prices of rubber worldwide and to pave ways for those involving in the industry to exchange opinions on improving it.
