Govˈt to improve role of Iranian women within family, society

Tehran, May 5, IRNA – Vice President for Women and Family Affairs Shahindokht Molaverdi said on Monday that the government is planned to improve role of women within family and society. She made the remarks in a meeting with the visting Director of the Department of Labor Standards of International Labor Organization (ILO), Cleopatra Doumbia-Henry. The government aims to devote special attention to women, their rights and role within the family and society, Molaverdi added. She underlined that President Hassan Rouhaniˈs administration is keen to have constructive talks and good interaction with the world. The ILOˈs official, for her part, welcomed the expansion of ILO-Iran ties particularly in the field of promotion of women status. end
