Greetings to Minister for Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad of Gambia

Pyongyang, March 10 (KCNA) -- DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Son Gwon sent a message of greeting to Momodu Tangara, minister for Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad of Gambia, on Mar. 2 on the occasion of the 48th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the Republic of Gambia. The message said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the two countries have deepened the bonds of friendship and cooperation on the principle of respect for sovereignty, equality and reciprocity, closely supporting and cooperating with each other over important international issues. Expressing belief that the historic and traditional relations of friendship and cooperation would grow stronger in conformity with mutual interests of the peoples of the two countries, the message wished the Gambian minister success in his job. -0-
