GWS launches three-projects award

Manama, Aug. 2 (BNA): The Good Word Society (GWS) announced a prize for best top three voluntary work projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The winners will be announced simultaneously with the celebrations of the fifth annual version of HH Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa Award for Voluntary Work in September. The award aims to spread the culture of voluntary work and to push the Bahraini society towards creative, innovative ideas in voluntary work. The Head of Public Relations and Media in the Society, Yaqoub Bu Hazza', said the "Award's Higher Organising Committee will consider voluntary projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Projects should be delivered in the form of video footage and images supported with written reports to choose the best according to specific criteria set by the committee which considers the overall project and the extent of its benefit to the Bahraini community and its sustainability and uniqueness. Winning projects will be selected by a specialized arbitration panel of experts.
