Hacker of Thai PM’s Office website identified

BANGKOK, May 9 (TNA) - A suspected hacker of an official website of the Thai Prime Minister’s Office has been identified and is being hunted for posting rude words with a picture of Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra there. Deputy Prime Minister Chalerm Yubamrung on Thursday handed copies of the suspect’s photo to reporters, telling them that authorities concerned now know where the suspected hacker is hiding and is hunting the suspect, after the Royal Thai Police's Technology Crime Suppression Division has found that the suspected hacker is a native of Nakhon Si Thammarat province in the Thai South, studied at a Rajabhat University and earlier hacked into the website of the TV channel 3. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Minister Anudith Nakornthap was set, meanwhile, to hold a press conference on the case on Thursday afternoon to elaborate on the suspect’s behaviors.
