Hajj medical committee preparations discussed

Manama, June 11 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh has received the head of the he Hajj Mission's Coordinative Medical Committee Dr. Ibrahim Faraq Obaid, in the presence of the committee members. Dr. Obaid presented a detailed report on the medical committee of the Hajj mission and reviewed the Committee’s achievements and tasks for the Bahraini pilgrims in the Holy Land. He explained that the Medical Committee provides services to all Bahraini pilgrims, citizens and residents. The minister discussed the most important arrangements and requirements for the Hajj season this year 2018-1439, praising the Committee’s efforts in providing the best care for all pilgrims. She stressed the need to raise awareness of the pilgrims and educate them about the importance of hygiene to avoid infectious diseases, as well as the prevention of sun strikes, expressing the ministry’s readiness to provide all the necessary requirements and support for the Hajj Mission's Coordinative Medical Committee.
