Hakim meets with Assistant of Iranian Foreign Minister

BAGHDAD / NINA / Head of the Islamic Supreme Council, Ammar al-Hakim discussed with assistant of Iranian Foreign Minister, Morteza Sarmadi developments of the political situation in the region. A statement of the Supreme Council cited that "Hakim met with Sarmadi in his office in Baghdad, and discussed with him the regional situation and ways to fight terrorism." Hakim described terrorism as "the latest trend", calling for concerted efforts of everyone in order to eliminate it. / End
