Hamdan bin Zayed directs provision of urgent humanitarian aid to flood-affected victims in India

Abu Dhabi (WAM): H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region and Chairman of Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), has ordered the provision of urgent humanitarian assistance to the victims of the floods, which hit India recently. He ordered the implementation of humanitarian programme to meet the basic needs and improve lives of people affected by the floods in Indian Kashmir. Dr. Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi, Secretary-General of the ERC affirmed that Sheikh Hamdan's directives come in the light of his keenness to alleviate the suffering of the victims and improve living conditions there, indicating that Sheikh Hamdan is closely following the repercussions of floods in India.
