Hamdan bin Zayed makes phone call with UAE medical team in Gaza

Abu Dhabi (WAM): H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in the Western Region and President of the Emirates Red Crescent Authority, has made a phone call with the Emirati medical team in Gaza Strip, who have arrived there to oversee the launch of the Emirati field hospital. He reassured on the conditions of the team members and the latest preparations to open the hospital. He also got familiarised with the current health conditions in Gaza Strip and the assistance that could be provided in order to improve the health situation. Sheikh Hamdan conveyed the greetings of the wise leadership to the team for their relentless efforts and sacrifices, stressing that U.A.E. leadership and people are proud of them and looking forward to support the Palestinians, who are facing dire humanitarian conditions. He added that the U.A.E.'s presence in Gaza since the beginning of the crisis embodies the wise leadership's keenness to show full solidarity with the people of Gaza. Sheikh Hamdan also added, "In order to promote the U.A.E.'s humanitarian role in Palestine, the RCA has opened two offices in the West Bank and Gaza Strip in order to have full and constant communication with the humanitarian actors and the implementation of programmes which meet the needs of the Palestinians.
