HE Foreign Minister Meets Fiji's Counterpart

New York, September 28 (QNA) - HE Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah met Saturday with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Fiji Ratu Inoke Kubuabola on the sidelines of the 69th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to support and strengthen bilateral relations and exchanged views on a number of topics of common interest. Fiji's Foreign Minister expressed his country's thanks and gratitude for the efforts undertaken by the State of Qatar which led to the release of 45 Fijian soldiers serving with peacekeeping forces at the request of the Government of the Republic of Fiji. For his part, HE Dr. Al Attiyah said that Qatar is sparing no effort to harness all its potential and diplomatic mechanisms to maintain life. (QNA)
