HE Minister of Culture Receives Invitation from Algerian Counterpart

Doha, January 14 (QNA) - HE Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage received Wednesday an invitation from his Algerian counterpart Nadia Labidi to participate in the ceremony for Constantine, Capital of Arab Culture 2015. The event will take place on April 16 under the patronage of Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika. The choice fell on Constantine to be the next capital of Arab Culture due to its rich history that spans over more than 2500 years. Algerian Ambassador of Culture to Arab Countries Ezz el din Al Mayhoubi handed the invitation to Director of the Department of Arts of Culture at the Ministry Faleh Al Ajlan Al Hajri during their meeting today.
