HE the Prime Minister Inaugurates New Premises of Omani Embassy

Doha , March 23 (QNA) - HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al Thani along with HE Oman's Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi inaugurated Saturday the new premises of Omani Embassy in the new diplomatic area. A number of their excellencies Sheikhs, Ministers and ranking officials at the Foreign Ministry attended the inauguration ceremony. HE the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister and the Secretary-General of the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs toured the new premises of the embassy after the ceremony. Talking to reporters, HE the Prime Minister stressed on the depth of bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman, which he described as 'historic and deep-rooted ties', adding that the strong relationship between HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and the Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman made Qatari-Omani relations even stronger. HE the Prime Minister expressed his happiness at inaugurating the new edifice of the Omani embassy, valuing its role in enhancing bilateral relations. HE Oman's Ambassador to Doha Mohamed bin Nasser Al-Wihaibi praised bilateral relations between the two countries, saying that the opening of the new Embassy premises would further contribute to enhancing relations in line with the directives of HM Sultan Qaboos bin Said and HH the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
