HE Qatar’s Minister of Culture Meets ASEAN Ambassadors

Doha, May 20 (QNA) - HE Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdul Aziz Al Kuwari met here on Tuesday Ambassadors of ASEAN countries, chaired by Ambassador of Brunei Darussalam Nuruddin Ahmad. The meeting was based on a request by the ASEAN ambassadors, who issued their desire to hold joint cultural days in Doha by the end of 2013. The officials discussed details of holding the event, in order to reflect the strength of bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and ASEAN countries. For their part the ambassadors expressed their admiration of the cultural role the State of Qatar plays abroad and its impact on relations between different countries. (QNA)
