HE Qatar’s Prime Minister Receives Phone Call from Lebanese Prime Minister

Doha, September 07 (QNA) - HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani received today a telephone call from Lebanese Prime Minister-designate Tammam Salam, . During the phone conversation, they discuss the issue of the abducted Lebanese soldiers on the Lebanese-Syrian borders. The Lebanese Prime Minister wished that Qatar would continue efforts to help in releasing them. For his part, HE the Prime Minister said, in response to the request of the Lebanese government and in coordination with them in this regard and based on humanitarian grounds, Qatar will spare no effort in helping in the release of the abducted soldiers, despite the absence of contacts with the kidnappers.
