HE Qatari PM Takes Part in 15th GCC Consultative Meeting of Ministers of Interior

Kuwait ,April 30 (QNA) - HE Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Shaikh Abdullah bin Nasser Al Thani participated in the 15th consultative meeting of Ministers of Interior of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) which was held here earlier Wednesday. Addressing the meeting , Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior , Sheikh Mohammed Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, stressed that provision of security for citizens and maintaining the stability of the countries is a responsibility of the security men, saying such meetings are a good opportunity to discuss various security issues of common interest in order to reach to unified visions and effective solutions leading to achieve concrete results on the ground for Gulf citizens . Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al- Zayani, praised ties of cooperation existing among the GCC ministries of interior and efforts being carried out on part of all their security departments to enhance security and stability in the GCC countries and protect Gulf communities from the negative effects of crime. Dr Abdul Latif Al Zayani said this meeting will take place in critical conditions , the matter which requires unity of visions and goals to preserve the achievements and gains, and to fulfill aspirations of the peoples of the GCC countries.(QNA)
