HE Qatar's Culture Minister Meets British Baroness Morris of Bolton and Other Parliamentarians

London , April 07 (QNA) - HE Qatar's Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari, now on a visit to Britain, met here on Monday Baroness Morris of Bolton, the chairperson of the qatari friendship committee at the british parliament and a number of other parliament members. Talks during the meeting dealt with the various aspects of cultural relations between Qatar ad UK, with baroness Bolton commending the grand progress and development Qatar is now witnessing in the cultural sphere, and highly praised the tangible success of the cultural year "Qatar UK 2013. HE dr. al kuwari on his part, gave a detailed presentation on the present and future of the qatari-british cultural relations and their impact on bilateral relations as a whole. HE qatar's ambassador to UK khalid al mansouri attended the meeting. The qatari culture minister arrived here earlier Sunday on a visit during which HE attends London International Book Fair in which Qatar partakes with a large pavilion after the cultural year "Qatar UK 2013" . During the visit , HE Al Kuwari will also coordinate with the senior publishers in the London Book Fair, in preparation for the 25th Doha International Book Fair. HE the Minister said the coming edition will be unprecedented in many respects, in order to match its 25th anniversary. As part of his visit to London, HE Al-Kuwari will also meet with his British counterpart Ed Vaizey to discuss enhancing bilateral relations in the cultural fields.
