HE the Qatar's Prime Minister to Patronize SEC World Teachers' Day Celebration on Wednesday

Doha, September 30 (QNA) - The Supreme Education Council will celebrate on Wednesday the World Teachers' Day under the theme "Messenger of Science: Thank You." The celebration will be Held under the patronage of HE Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, at Katara's building No. 12. 103 teachers will be honoured and given certificates of appreciation and prizes after they fulfilled the conditions and criteria of awards as outlined by SEC. The World Teachers' Day falls on October 5 of every year and comes as a reminder of the importance of adopting UNESCO's 1966 recommendation on improving conditions of teachers all over the world in recognition of their role in providing high-quality education and preparing good citizens.
