Health Minister: National Day Source of Pride of Qatar's History

Doha, December 16 (QNA) - The National Day is a source of pride of Qatar's history as the country managed to achieve great milestones since the era of its founder Sheikh Jassim bin Mohamed bin Thani until the reign of HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, HE Minister of Health Abdulla bin Khalid Al-Qahtani said. HE the Minister added that the renaissance in Qatar became a source of world admiration and a model for comprehensive and sustainable development. "Our state has been able to achieve all means of progress and prosperity to its citizens and reach a leading international status, allowing it to carry out a significant humanitarian role in achieving world peace and promoting human values and principles," HE the minister said. HE the Minister noted that this year's celebrations reflect the meanings and connotations that bring the people of Qatar's loyal, faithful and proud hearts together with the wise leadership. Our wise leadership has given all to building the country and the citizen, and provided all necessary support to build the Qatari person and achieve comprehensive development. We promise the wise leadership to make every possible effort to achieve more achievements in the health sector and provide the best standard of health services," HE the minister of health said. (QNA)
