Health Minister receives RCO Secretary-General

Manama, Aug 9 (BNA): Health Minister Faeqa bint Saeed Al Saleh today received Secretary-General of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO), Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, and congratulated him on his new post as the Goodwill Ambassador for Humanitarian Affairs, praising his great efforts in the charitable and humanitarian work at the local and international level. The Minister expressed pride in the directives of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to foster orphans and widows, paying tribute to the RCO efforts to support the needy families and provide them with a decent life. She affirmed that the Health Ministry would invest funds to promote the RCO charitable projects to benefit the Bahraini society The RCO Secretary-General presented the Minister with a copy of his book (Bahrain, My Homeland). The Minister wished him more successes to come. He highlighted the royal interest and government support for the Organisation to continue providing high quality services. He also praised the efforts of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to lead the RCO charitable work.
