Health Minister receives Russian ambassador

Manama, Mar. 3. (BNA) -- Health Minister Sadaq bin Abdul Karim Al Shehabi received here today the outgoing Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain Viktor Smirnov. Al Shehabi lauded the ambassador's efforts and the advanced level of Bahraini-Russian relations and joint cooperation in all fields, especially health and training. The ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to Bahrain's leadership, government and people, lauding Bahrain's economic and developmental progress and achievements under His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's reform project. He affirmed that the fruitful visits of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, had strengthened the friendly bilateral relations and cooperation. He highlighted Bahrain's remarkable role on the regional and international levels, wishing Bahrain progress and prosperity. Al Shehabi expressed thanks and appreciation to the ambassador for his efforts, wishing him success in his new diplomatic assignments.
