Health minister receives UAE ambassador

Manama, May 15 (BNA): Health Minister, Faeqa bint Said Al-Saleh, received here today the newly-appointed UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al-Nahyan. The minister congratulated Shaikh Sultan on his appointment to his post, wishing him every success in bolstering the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries. Al-Saleh lauded the depth of the long-standing relations between the two countries’ leaders and peoples, stressing that the distinguished bilateral relations are progressing steadily within the common and joint GCC action. The two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation in the health fields in order to attain more common GCC achievements in this regard. The ambassador praised the depth of the Bahraini-UAE relations, voicing pride in the deep-rooted ties between the two brotherly countries. He lauded the advanced level and steady growth of the health sector in the kingdom, hailing the distinction and efficiency of the health and medical services delivered to the citizens and residents. The minister highlighted the medical services provided in the kingdom, noting that the social insurance will be implemented in the coming period.
