HEC delegation attends GCC academic accreditation meeting

Kuwait, Nov.27 (BNA): A Higher Education Council (HEC) delegation took part in the 9th meeting of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Academic Accreditation Committee, which convened in Kuwait. The delegations discussed key issues relating to academic accreditation and the higher education quality standards, stressing the possibility of setting up joint database and launching a website for the GCC network for higher education quality assurance. The National Authority for Accreditation and Education Quality Assurance held a seminar under the theme "Optimising Instutional Performance.. Successful Cases Studies". Bahrain representative Aisha Tahmazi attended the symposium which focused on international practices in fruitful interaction and building efficient partnerships.
