HH the Amir Qatar Holds Official Talks Session with Algerian President

Doha, February 20 (QNA) - HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HE President of the sisterly People's Democratic Republic of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune, held an official talks session at the Amiri Diwan on Sunday morning. At the beginning of the meeting, HH the Amir welcomed HE the Algerian President and the accompanying delegation, wishing him a pleasant stay, and the relations of the two countries further development and growth in various fields. For his part, HE Algerian President expressed his thanks to HH the Amir for the warm reception and hospitality, looking forward to strengthen relations of cooperation to achieve the aspirations of the two countries and their brotherly peoples. During the session, they discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them in various fields, in addition to discussing issues of joint interest. The session was attended by HH Personal Representative of HH the Amir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani and HE Chief of Amiri Diwan Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani. The session was also attended by HE Minister of Transport Jassim bin Saif Al Sulaiti, HE Minister of Municipality Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie, HE Minister of State for Energy Affairs Eng. Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, HE Minister of Commerce and Industry Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al-Thani, HE Minister of Education and Higher Education Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi and HE Minister of Social Development and Family Mariam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad. On the Algerian side, the session was attended by HE Minister Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ramtane Lamamra, HE Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals Abdul Rashid Tabbi, HE Minister of Energy and Mining Mohamed Arkab, HE Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Abdelbaki Benziane, HE Minister of National Solidarity, Family and Women's Issues Kawthar Kriko, HE Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Mohamed Abdel Hafeez Hani and HE Minister of Housing, Urban Planning and the City Tarek Belaribi. HH the Amir and HE Algerian President also held a bilateral meeting, during which they exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues, as well as the latest developments.
